One of the advantages of buying a CLT home is that its price is much lower than a non-CLT home. U-CLT reduces the price by selling just the house itself, not the land. We keep ownership of the land and lease it to the new homeowner.

The Uniondale Community Land Trust is a non-profit organization that started after the foreclosure crisis. Our goal is to help more people become homeowners while keeping their housing costs affordable.
