In order to participate in the Uniondale Community Land Trust Affordable Housing Program, you must meet all the requirements described within the program guidelines. Please carefully review the Program Guidelines prior to submitting a lottery intake application.
Applications to participate in the lottery for the opportunity to purchase the home are available at the links below. You may either complete an application online, or download and mail it to the address shown on the application. You may only submit one application. Applicants who submit more than one application will be disqualified.
A $25 application fee is required at time of submission of the lottery intake form. This fee is paid through a secure online payment processing transaction in order to complete your submission.
If you are selected in the lottery, you will be sent a second, full application, and must submit all required documentation at that time for review by the Long Island Housing Partnership, which will determine your eligibility to purchase the house. These standards reflect our goal of making sure that the home is affordable to the buyer.
If you qualify to purchase the house, you will be required to attend an information session where we will explain the ground lease in more detail. This will also be an opportunity for you to ask detailed questions. Should you decide not to move forward in purchasing the home, the Uniondale Community Land Trust will move on to the next name on the list.
