U-CLT RECEIVES AHC GRANT

We are excited to announce that the New York State Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC) has awarded the U-CLT a grant of $75,000 towards the development of our first modular home on Uniondale Avenue. This grant is the second AHC grant to a Uniondale Community Land Trust, Inc.

In 2017, U-CLT was awarded funding from the New York State Attorney General’s office and Enterprise Community Partners. Funding for our fthe Macon Place Project enabled us to acquire our first home, begin renovations, and fund the project coordinator who managed acquisition and renovation of our first project. That AHC grant assisted with increased costs due to asbestos removal and the increased cost of construction work.
